Gibson has partnered with SOUNDGARDEN frontman Chris Cornell to design two special limited edition guitars, available now.

The first is an ES 335 with lollar pickups and a bigsby in army green (pictured below), and the second is an ES 335 with lollar pickups in black.

Both models were made with brushed nickel hardware and Grover brushed nickel machine heads and tuners. The guitars are sold in a Gibson Hardcase signed by Chris and only 250 of each model have been manufactured for purchase.

“I am honored to have designed a Signature guitar for Gibson, and look forward to using it on tour with Soundgarden in May,” said Cornell.

Soundgarden performed at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on February 17th, and the show was filmed for the three-time New York Emmy-nominated television series Live From The Artists Den, which pairs world-class musicians with unique venues to create intimate, once-in-a-lifetime concerts.

In front of a rapturous crowd, Soundgarden interwove brand new songs with classics, radio hits with rarities never before performed for a live audience. Over a varied 28-song set, they showcased their history, dazzled with their musicianship and captured the imaginations of everyone in the room.

On Record Store Day, April 20th, Soundgarden will be releasing a limited edition vinyl of the King Animal demos worldwide. This is the first time these recordings have been available together. The songs will be pressed on 10" PINK vinyl and the 6-song package will also include a free digital download card.

The demos were recorded by Chris Cornell and Soiundgarden at TNC Studios in Los Angeles, California and Deke River Studio in Seattle, WA.
