Sweden's AMON AMARTH performed at Germany's infamous Rock Am Ring in Nürburgring on June 7th. Pro-shot footage of the band blasting out 'Deceiver Of The Gods' has been posted online and can be viewed below:

Amon Amarth recently released a video showcasing the deluxe edition of the upcoming Deceiver Of The Gods album, and more specifically, the limited edition collectible Loki bust (appoximately 10" tall), to be included with the deluxe edition.

In anticipation of the release of their ninth studio offering, Deceiver Of The Gods, Amon Amarth recently unleashed the second of their special three-part mini documentary. Fittingly titled Forging Mjölnir, the crisp black and white film was directed by Luke Daley and offers up intimate interviews with the band.

Deceiver Of The Gods was recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, UK, and produced, mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap (OPETH, MEGADETH, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE). The cover art was, once again, completed by Tom Thiel and depicts a mythical battle between the Norse Gods Loki & Thor.

Fans will also recognize a special appearance on this album with Messiah Marcolin (CANDLEMASS) providing guest vocals for eighth song, 'Hel'. Deceiver Of The Gods will be released in North America via Metal Blade Records June 25th, in Europe June 21st/24th and Japan on June 26th.
