ARCHITECTS Sign With Epitaph Records; Announce European Tour

Britain’s ARCHITECTS have checked in with the following message:
“We're delighted to announce that we have signed to Epitaph Records! It’s an absolute honor to join a label that houses the best roster in the genre. We're also stoked to have signed deals with UNFD in Australia and New Damage Records in Canada. This is a whole new chapter for Architects and we're stoked to have such a great team behind us.
Many of you will have seen that we are currently in Gothenburg at Studio Fredman with with Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, AT THE GATES, IN FLAMES) recording a brand new album that is penciled for a spring 2014 release. It’s sounding splendid – (you are going to) love it. Fredrik has worked on a bunch of amazing sounding records over the last 20 years and he's a perfect match for our band. The record is arguably our heaviest record to date, but I'm not going to waste anyone's time with the standard metal band one liners about their new album sounding 'huge', you're just going to have to wait and see.
PROTEST THE HERO will celebrate the release of their fourth studio album, Volition, with a 30-date North American tour commencing November 7th in Ottawa. The tour will cover Canadian and US major markets. Architects will join Protest for the tour. Rotating the opening slots will be AFFIANCE and THE KINDRED.
