hot flashes news in flames

The Head Jester from IN FLAMES’ official fanclub recently had a chance to visit the recording where In Flames is recording their new album. He checks in with the following update:

“Hey guys! Head Jester reporting here from the studio in Berlin. I just flew in yesterday to spend a couple of days with the band in the studio, and to report back to you, The Jesterheads!

Today we listened to the first ‘finished’ song with vocals. It sounds fantastic, and more heavy than ever! Anders is really bringing it and I was blown away by the massive sound. We also listened to some of the other tracks that are being recorded right now. Everything sounds incredible, and you can really tell that this album will be a milestone for In Flames, probably their best album yet!

Now it's time for some dinner with the band, stay tuned for more reports!”

More updates and photos can be found at the In Flames official fanclub Jesterhead

In Flames are at Köthener Strasse 38 to record the follow-up to the gold-selling Sounds Of A Playground Fading from 2011. The recording of the band’s eleventh album will continue throughout the year, and in the spring of 2014 we will have the chance to hear the result of this exciting meeting between the classic studio and the Swedish metal pioneers.
