HOLYHELL - featuring singer Maria Breon and guitarist Joe Stump - have been in limbo since 2012 following an acrimonious split with their management.

Keyboardist Francisco Palomo checked in at the end of 2013 with the following message to the fans:

"This year (2013) has been a pretty crucial one, complex and full of surprises for good and bad, sometimes life presents challenges that make us realize and confirm our ideas and goals. You see, where I come from there's always two doors, there's the one that offers you a crooked, corrupt way, and that door (quoting the greatest) 'is full of kings and queens that blind your eyes and steal your dreams.' The second door which offers a more difficult way, where you have to work like crazy against all odds to make dreams happen and most importantly to keep your head high and values intact.

This year I faced those two doors again and I'm proud and glad to share this with you, because you guys are one of the biggest reasons why I stayed. I'll stay strong to my values, whether the easy crooked way seems appealing to some, for me is all about music and friendship, being true to myself and to keep working hard, that's why HolyHell stands strong and we'll do it until the end. And without all of you this wouldn't be possible.

So thanks again for being there through the good and the bad, during the silence or during the loudest storm, we are looking forward to 2014 and sharing our new found success."

To bridge the waiting for this new studio album full of epic, power-goth metal, HolyHell released the EP Darkness Visible – The Warning that featuring three songs from the forthcoming long play album, and a never before released live version of the song ‘Armageddon’, performed live at The Agora, Cleveland, OH on March 12th, 2011.
