Dubai's BENEVOLENT Talk About The Covenant In New Interview; Audio

Metal Shock Finland's Blackdiamond recently had an interview with Dubai-based extreme experimental metallers BENEVOLENT. The band released their first EP entitled Divided in 2010. The trio are set to release their full length album The Covenant on March 18th, which features drummer Andols Herrick (ex-CHIMAIRA).

Discussing single ‘The Seeker’ the band stated: “This one we feel represents the album very well and carries on from where we left off with Divided.”
About the album, the band revealed: “We’re really stoked, we can’t wait to share this with everybody! It’s not a concept album, but each song has its own individual story, they compliment each other. It’s got the dark thing going, but optimism too. It’s more progressive than anything on Divided. A lot of the prog moments on this album are really over the top; we all come from prog backgrounds.”
