Montréal's ENDAST will release their new album, Thrive, on April 28th. Produced by Bjorn Strid of SOILWORK and Jon Howard of THREAT SIGNAL at Howard's own Woodward Avenue Studios in Hamilton, Ontario. The production duo also provide guest appearances for the songs 'Ocean Of Regrets' (Strid) and 'This Is Ours' (Howard).

The album did garner some attention from labels. However, ultimately Endast decided that what was best was to stick to the formula that has served them well over the years.

“We're going to put the album out ourselves and tour like fucking crazy,” says frontman Big James Arsenian. “At the end of the day, labels simply won't negotiate with a band like us when there are plenty of bands out there willing to jump at any offer that is presented to them. Our work ethic is solid and we have a great album on our hands that we're extremely proud of. We don't need more than that.”

Howard comments on the album: "Working with Endast on their album Thrive was one of the best studio experiences I've had with a band to date. Very professional and motivated musicians who put everything they have into their music. You can really hear the passion of each member within these songs. They brought some amazing music to the table, and together we shaped this album into something very unique and special. It was honestly a pleasure to be a part of this experience and such a great time working with the boys. Endast's album Thrive represents Canadian metal at its finest!"

Strid: “I'm really impressed. It's a great bunch of people. I had so much fun."

The album is available for pre-order at the band's online store here.

A launch party has been confirmed for April 25th at Foufounes Electriques in Montréal, Québec. Free album included with entry. Go to this location for complete event details.
