Dutch metallers DEVIOUS have announced their farewell show. 14 years after their very first show in that very venue, the band’s long and respected stage history will be concluded on May 24th at Metropool Hengelo (NL), main concert hall.

Late 2013, the band informed the fans that they would call it quits. Guitarist and founding member Guido de Jongh:

“We’ve had an awesome time as a band, but individually we’ve come to a point where we’re ready for something new. The different musical preferences just don’t fit the name Devious anymore. This may sound cliché, but all good things come to an end.

This band gave us some great experiences over the last 1.5 decade. We’ve played hundreds of shows, from obscure basements in Eastern Europe to the finest venues in the West and did a couple of tours we’ll never forget. There are three full-length Devious albums and two EPs out there that we’re very proud of. We want to thank all fans and friends who supported us over the years with one final outburst on stage. Devious goes out with a bang!”

This final outburst of Devious metal will shake the grounds of Metropool Hengelo (NL) on May 24th. De Jongh: “Fans will be treated with stage appearances of all current and former Devious members, along with other great friends who helped us out live or in the studio. Also, this night you can witness two one-time reunion shows by our friends DEIFECATION and EXTREEM ECZEEM! So get your tickets now and help us make this night legendary!”

Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.nl and for more show details visit Facebook.
