PRIMAL FEAR drummer Randy Black is conducting his first ever US drum clinic May 5th, presented by Vic’s Drum Shop in Chicago between dates on Primal Fear's current US tour. The following night fans will be able to catch him performing live with the band at Mojoes in Joliet, Illinois.

Black is well known as a seasoned professional live and studio musician known for his technical precision, symmetric cymbal set up (including hi-hats and rides), and ambidextrous playing style; Randy is sure to amaze in this intimate event. He will be performing with his personal drum set used on tour, giving attendees a chance to take a close look at his setup and the instruments he uses.

There will be a chance to meet Black following his clinic along with purchasing his specially priced Hudson Limited double DVD instruction video, currently only available in the US at the Vic’s Drum Shop location.

Black has also recorded and played with BIF NAKED, ANNIHILATOR, REBELLION, DUSKMACHINE and ROCK MEETS CLASSIC.

"Sill thinking about how great the past month was on the ROCK MEETS CLASSIC 2014 tour was, but life goes on and it's now time to prepare for the USA/Canada tour with Primal Fear starting April 29th in Baltimore, Maryland. Here's a little taste of what the P.F. fans can expect. Well, from me anyway ;-) A little shaky but you get the idea of the view from my position. This was filmed in Warsaw, Poland during the 2014 Delivering The Black Tour of Europe."

In the digital age, with flash mobs and viral social media postings, unfortunately rumors gain traction. BraveWords contacted Primal Fear bassist Mat Sinner to set the record straight, concerning various naysayers' postings about certain dates and/or the entire tour (scheduled to kick off April 29th, in Baltimore) being canceled. The tour is most DEFINITELY on!

"First we’ve already paid thousands of dollars in visa, flights and bus advances," begins the always pragmatic German. "Second we’ve already sold more than the twice amount of Delivering The Black than with (its predecessor) Unbreakable. Be sure, the tour will happen."
