CHRIS CAFFERY To Appear At Mahwah Museum

Guitarist Chris Caffery, well known for his work with Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Savatage, will be at the Mahwah Museum in Mahwah, New Jersey on Saturday May 17th between 2pm and 4pm. With the Les Paul museum exhibit as a backdrop, Chris will talk of his long history in the sounds and business of rock 'n roll.

Born in Suffern and raised in Mahwah, Chris began playing guitar at the age of 11. Chris made his first demo record at the age of 14; some of his earliest memories include performing the Beatles song “Help” for a show and tell in kindergarten. He has been pursuing a solo career and has released four CDs since 2004, including Faces and House Of Insanity. A man of many talents, he is also a photographer and an artist; he created the cover art for his newly released solo single “Death By Design”. He is also marketing his original hot sauce recipes Tears Of The Sun and Grapes Of Wrath, for which he has received acclaim in the culinary world.

During three 30 minute sessions, Caffery will be available for discussion, autographs, Q &A; and photos with museum visitors. Seating is limited, reservations for one of the three sessions are recommended. Chris’ appearance is in support of the 2014 Les Paul Gala Birthday celebration on June 14th at Ramapo College. Gala tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Mahwah Museum.
