AREA51 - New Album To Feature DIRK VERBEUREN, MIKE LEPOND And MATT GUILLORY

Yoichiro Ishino, guitarist and mastermind behind Japan's AREA51, has checked in with the following update:
"It's official at last! Area51 is recording the latest album with Dirk Verbeuren (drums/Soilwork), Mike LePond (bass/Symphony X) and Matt Guillory (keyboards solos/James LaBrie). I'm super excited about working with all these great musicians. Dirk already finished the drum parts that are filled with awesome technique, power and groove. Matt just recorded some KILLER solos! He will be shredding on more songs, too! Stay tuned for more info!"
Ishino posted a sneak peek of some of the material from the band's forthcoming as-yet-untitled new album in August 2012, which can be heard below.
