Today, Monday, June 9th sees the release of Michigan metallers King 810's debut EP, Proem. Intended as a snapshot of material from the band's forthcoming debut full-length, which is set for an August 18th release, Proem offers four tracks of graphic, explicit catharsis from frontman and visionary, David Gunn.

The bands' work is the fruit of a life lived in Flint, Michigan, (dubbed Murdertown, USA by the New York Times) and Gunn lays out his words as a document of memoirs, a reflection on the trials and horrors of he and his crew's day-to-day existence in a dying metropolis.
