Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie will release their new album, Origins, on August 1st in Europe, August 4th in the UK, and August 5th in North America via Nuclear Blast Records. The band have released a new song off Origins. “The Call Of The Mountains” is the second single of the album and the band has recorded it in all four of Switzerland’s beautiful national languages.

Check out the multilingual track video (including all versions) below:

The band states: “This one’s long overdue. Another Origins song you say? Well, yes indeed. Finally, a song about our beautiful mountains? That, too. But also an idea we’ve considered for a number of years now: a song released not just in English and/or Gaulish, but in all four of Switzerland’s beautiful national languages! So we present to you: “The Call Of The Mountains”! A song about the long searched for destination at the end of the epic journey of the Celts, who were to become the Helvetians - a song about our mystical and unparalleled alps. Besides the English album version, you will find the full song in Swiss German, French, Italian and of course Romansh both on Nuclear Blast’s mailorder edition and on iTunes, where you will of course be able to get them separately, too. We can’t wait to hear how you like it!"

The single “The Call Of The Mountains” (English version) will be available digitally on July 25th. The full song in Swiss German, French, Italian and Romansh will be on the beautiful Nuclear Blast Mailorder-Edition of Origins and via iTunes.

Origins, the bands sixth full length album was recorded at the New Sound Studios by Tommy Vetterli (Coroner, Kreator) and marks the follow up to the successful album Helvetios.

The new single, “King”, is now available via iTunes, AmazonMP3, Google Play and Nuclear Blast MP3. The video for "King" can be seen below:

Mastermind Chrigel Glanzmann stated: "Here's the first song off our new album for you to listen to! "King" tells the story of an impressive and legendary (character of the Gallic history: The high king Ambicatus. And the song presents itself just as mighty as the illustrious leader: 'King' is a midtempo song and just grooves. Intensely! We tried to capture the vehemence, the power and the majestic grandeur of the historical figure Ambicatus with our music but the mythologically strong character of Ambicatus' story also comes into effect. 'King' is a very folky track and especially the instrumental part of the song goes all out. Pure fucking folk metal! I hope you like 'King' just as much as we do!"
