E-FORCE - Recording Of Second Album Underway

As previously reported, E-FORCE - featuring ex-VOIVOD frontman Eric Forrest - are currently working on a new album. Forrest contacted BW&BK; with the following update:
"Started recording a few days later than scheduled, but all is well. After just two days 'Yngwie Jr.' (guitarist Cyril Bernhard) has finished seven songs on guitar (rhythm x 4). With his Laney amp and a Peavey 5150 he is shredding up a storm.....accurate as fuck! The producer, Patrick Freidrich, says to me, 'Eric, you are really lucky to have this guy!' Yeah, I know.Recording some bass later this week and more guitar (with drum machine) vox.......and the drums last..... keep you posted."

As previously reported, E-Force recently signed a three album deal with Thundering Records. AGRESSOR vocalist/guitarist Alex Colin-Tocquaine is co-writing a track for the new album, as are Tim and Kevin Guttierez of PROJECT: FAILING FLESH. Finally, Forrest has decided to re-record/cover a song from the unreleased 2001 Voivod demo as a tribute to late guitarist Piggy, who passed away in August, 2005 due to cancer.
The new E-Force lineup consists of Forrest, 19-year old guitarist Cyril Berhhard and drummer Boris Lugan.
