Launch Radio Networks has issued the following report from Howie Edelson:

PETE TOWNSHEND has made one of his concerts with girlfriend Rachel Fuller available as a DVD digital download. The web-based music video show, Rachel Fuller And Friends In The Attic Christmas Special 2005, features Fuller and Townshend, as well as such special guests such as MICK JAGGER's ex-wife Jerry Hall and Townshend's brother Simon Townshend, who is a touring guitarist for THE WHO. The special was taped on December 17th of 2005 at London's Oceanic Studios.

The acoustic Townshend performances include The Who's 'I'm One' and 'Blue, Red & Grey', and 'God Speaks Of Marty Robbins', from the band's latest album Endless Wire, 'How Can I Help You Sir', and 'Just Breathe' performed with Fuller.

The DVD is being sold for $10 as a bit torrent download on The Who website longliverock.org, through January 7th.

Townshend told us that performing the In The Attic shows prior to The Who's concerts and during the tour's off-nights helps to liberate him artistically: "It gives me a place to go which is very different, and the demands are very different. You know Roger (Daltrey) was worried, he said, 'If you do this show, you're gonna come on (stage) and aren't you gonna get exhausted?' And I actually found that I would go on with more energy and more detachment - and in a better mood."

In the past, Townshend and Fuller have broadcasted many of their In The Attic collaborations via Fuller's intheattic.tv and Townshend's petetownshend.co.uk. During last summer's The Who tour, the pair taped their performances with special guests backstage in a specially constructed tent at the band's concerts.

During The Who's recent US tour, the In The Attic show has been performed live at various clubs with Townshend and Fuller playing "hootenanny"-style with such high profile guests as SEAN LENNON, SMASHING PUMPKINS' BILLY CORGAN, MARTHA WAINWRIGHT, RYAN ADAMS, and actors Jimmy Fallon and Minnie Driver, among others.

Rachel Fuller And Friends In The Attic Christmas Special 2005 will be available at the longliverok.org website through January 7th.

The Who kick off their next series of dates on February 23rd in Reno, Nevada, at the Reno Events Center.
