GARY MOORE Joins Planet Rock Lineup To Present New Weekly Series

Guitar legend GARY MOORE (ex-THIN LIZZY) has joined Planet Rock's lineup to present a new weekly series called Blues Power With Gary Moore. The first show is scheduled for Sunday, January 21st from 7 - 9 PM. The series will be broadcast on Sundays during January and February.
A message at Moore's site reads: "Gary Moore joins the Planet Rock line up to present this new series "Blues Power with Gary Moore", a weekly show starting on 21st January. There are few musical genres that Gary Moore has not turned his hand to but seeing the Bluesbreakers' with Peter Green in his hometown in the mid 60s opened him up to the world of The Blues. Tune in from 7 PM every Sunday when you will get the chance to hear Gary Moore explore this essential musical genre.
Gary Moore will be playing some of his all time favourite blues tracks from across the decades and discussing the story of the blues. Focusing on some of the original blues players including Robert Johnson, John Mayall and the three Kings (Albert, Freddie and B.B.). Looking at British, American and new blues, and talking about the women in blues. Not only this, but Gary Moore will also be playing his guitar live in the studio.
