BLIND STARE Preparing New Material For Pre-Production

BLIND STARE drummer Timo Palokankare has issued the following update on the band's current status:
"So, after all Christmas crap and New Year's celebration Blind Stare still breathes and doesn't have any kind of moral hangover whatsoever. I thought I would drop a few lines about what exactly is happening with BS currently.We were to record a promotional CD for record labels last fall but because of studies consuming a lot of few members' time BS really didn't have the energy for massive production. So we decided to give ourselves little personal time and concentrate on music production later. We kept rehearsing at the same speed, 1-3 times a week, depending on situation. Live shows wasn't even considered.
Although BS took a little breath in the end of 2006, the goal was still very clear: prepare three songs for preproduction. At this very moment we have two songs ready and third one coming up. To be realistic, we might get to preproduction in February. After that, maybe in March we can get to real recordings. This is the situation as we know it. Although if we hurry, we might get it all done quicker, which would be tremendously better for BS's sake.
And no, we haven't forgotten our fanbase of great magnitude! We will release one of the songs from the upcoming promo CD in our website. Then you'll get to hear what BS sounds like nowadays.
More on this as time passes by... Until then, keep it metal!"
