SIN DEALER vocalist Eric Kuthe has provided BW&BK; with the following update:

Sin Dealer finished recording tracks for their follow-up to 2004's 13 album at Escarpment Sound this past weekend and will start mixing the CD the first week of February.

The as-yet-untitled CD was engineered by Andrew St. George (THE WHO, KILLER DWARFS, IAN ASTBURY) and Gary Honess (I MOTHER EARTH, BURNING THE DAY, JEFF MARTIN).

Guitarist Ron Bechard says, "It was great working with both Andrew and Gary. We had the best of two worlds, an old school rock & roll approach by way of Andrew and a more modern approach through Gary. The sounds we got were HUGE!"

Frontman Eric Kuthe adds, "We recorded in a converted 110 year old farm house in the middle of nowhere. We all lived out there together and ate, slept, lived and breathed the Sin Dealer vibe. The first day we were there, it was foggy and grey. You couldn't help looking out of the windows and across the misty fields and feeling like we were in Birmingham or some place like that recording the way Black Sabbath might have a couple decades ago. It definitely added to the feel of the CD."

Sin Dealer recorded 10 new songs in total over the session and advance song titles include 'Gasoline', 'Going Down Again', 'Betrayal', 'Got Into You', 'Devils War', 'One Foot In The Grave', 'Lying To Myself', 'Magic Woman', 'Born To Die' and a cover of AC/DC's 'Walk All Over You'. The band will be putting a couple of the board mixes up on their MySpace page in a few days, for a sneak peak, and a spring release is expected for the CD.
