MNEMIC guitarist Mircea is keeping a tour diary during the band's current trek in support of their Passenger album. The first entry is as follows:

"Here we go again, first tour of the year with GOD FORBID, GOATWHORE, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT and ARSIS. We are back in America, so far so good, oh fuck yearh!

First date got canceled, wohoooooo! OFF DAY!! Sorry guys, we'll be back, no worries.

Second date we drove straight to the ghetto in Hartford on this rainy and depressive day, met up with all the bands, and had a huge chaotic "Hey, I am Mircea from Mnemic and you are..??" Introduction, with people's names that I can't remember by now. The show was awful, due to the poor and defunct stage equipment, that kept bouncing massive chunks of noise and feedback towards us and the audience, but hey, that's how it is in America, if one thing is broken, it won't get fixed, and that's just my opinion, cause I am after all, in the Land Of The Free and I can say whatever I want to say!

On the third day, after a big party, we woke up to a beautiful sunny day in the middle of fucking nowhere, in New Hampshire. Venue on the right, Tittie bar on the left, free entrance for band members. The venue was awesome, OVERKILL are playing there later this month, and our set was great. The Titte bar was nothing new. Freaks, fat fucks, rednecks and poor skinny girls trying to make an extra buck to survive.

Another great party, and another great day, and we are all of the sudden in New York - the city with great transportation system. We where there about two months ago with SOILWORK.

The show was good but not great. I also enjoyed watching Arsis, good band, with some crazy ass guitar players. The same with Human Abstract, although I can't get into the emo haircuts and the blast beats - but they are all good guys. Goatwhore great band, evil and all off that. Apparently they started a "Hate on TRIVIUM" campaign while they where on stage in NY, and wanted to recruit haters to spread their propaganda... no comment on that.

Fifth day of the tour, we woke up at the Canadian border, got through security without any problems (cause we got rid of all the drugs the night before) and drove straight to Niagra Falls, for some touristy business. It's also been a while since visiting a great scenic place (where they even filmed Superman 2). We would like to thank our great bearded terrorist looking bus driver Shaun Sitka for making it possible. Also thanks to Tito ('es me amigo), for taking the photos. The show in Toronto was awesome, as always, and we even hooked up with some friends we haven't seen in a long time.

Next show, a blur, next show an even bigger blur, and then Peabodys in Cleveland. Good show, and awesome times seeing our boys from CHIMAIRA. Gene Hoglan was there too... or was it Jim from Chimaira? I cant recall...

Anyways, also a big thanks to the owner, Chris Zitterbart, who threw an awesome afterparty for us all... I can't recall anything.

Straight from there we drove to Kentucky, and what can I say... amazing crowd and amazing night! You Kentuckyians sure know how to throw it down. We had a great time there, and the response was amazing. Thank you for making this a memorable night. The day after, the tour went to Chicago, or Illinois or Mokena, or whatever the name is... this night everything just escallated. We've played The Pearl Room a couple of times by now, but this time around was probably the best we've done there. The crowd was chanting and screaming for Mnemic and wanted more and more and more. THANK YOU! You made one more and very memorable night for us. We will be looking very much forward to be coming back for ya' all!
