SAVATAGE / DOCTOR BUTCHER / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Chris Caffery has issued the following status report on his forthcoming album, Pins And Needles:

"Hi all!!!

So, things took a little longer than expected and I was even denied access to here for a bit!

I leave tomorrow AM for NAMM. Things have been so incredibly frickin' busy. I know you all have been very patient and I appreciate it. By next Monday at the latest you will have an official announcement about my new label, tours, future, etc.

I look forward to seeing some of my many friends in Cali as well as making some new ones.

Pins is mastered, the photos are done, I put a new picture up on MySpace and lots more will follow there as well as here. I am sitting here awaiting the final CD cover for approval from Seth in Athens and then the package is ready to get into print mode.

If I was to tell you how crazy this last week has been you would never believe me! Did photos with Mark Weiss on Thursday. They really came out great. Was hunting, visiting family, sorting through 2,000 photos for final press stuff. Doing more business than I would like to do and in the midst of all of this James Lewis moved into my house in the city. So I have Igor, Lewis and Greek John now! Just when you thought it was safe in Astoria!

I need to get back to work here, have to brush up on the song I will play with Mark Wood as well as some other music I need to learn for a special jam with some friends.
