Michigan-based prog-metallers TILES have checked in with the following update:

"Detroit-based journalist and progressive music aficionado Eric Harabadian has started a series on YouTube called "Past, Present, and Future." Eric's second installment features a 10-minute primer on Tiles. Please search YouTube for "progrockman" or click here for Eric's program.

With no studio activity to report for January we thought we'd dig through the archives and post a few historical tidbits. The following demos were recorded December 20th, 2002 in Chris' basement in preparation for pre- production sessions for Window Dressing with Terry Brown. It's interesting to note (well.., maybe - if you're into this kind of thing...) the impact Terry had on the arrangements: ranging from severe (All She Knows) to miminal (Tear-Water Tea). Terry fussed with everything to some extent, but the basement versions of the other songs aren't passable enough for public consumption! So here are 'All She Knows', 'Remember To Forget', and 'Tear -Water Tea' in their naked infancy. We've also included Chris' piano demo of 'Unicornicopia'.

On the horizon... As previously reported, once Mr. Broon returns from the UK, Paul will venture back to Toronto in early February - with Chris to follow shortly thereafter. The last of the lead vocals, the first of backing vocals, a few guitar solos, keyboard bits, and percussion bits will occupy our time for the next few months - along with guest artist "care and feeding".

Stay tuned..."
