The past 2 months have brought an abundance of changes for Chavis Records, and all for the best. We've streamlined our positive approach and tweaked up the internal workings to align the label to increase our presence. 2006 was a great year and we hit the mark on many of our goals. But it's time to raise the bar in 2007 and make 2006 a distant memory.

We've shaken up our roster, expanded our distribution channels, partnered with new companies, engaged with major marketing trends including branding our company with others and expanded our offices to advance our artists, music and label.

Chavis Records is happy to announce the opening of our new European office located in Grossheirath, Germany.

"With so many of our artists pleasing fans throughout Europe, it just made logical business sense to setup operations in Europe. Hard Rock / Heavy Metal is still a major focus in Europe and the fans there have never abandoned the music. While the competition in Europe is stiff, this will also level the playing ground some. Additionally it gives Chavis Records a bigger presence in the European markets." says VP / Publicist Lori Chavis.

This summer Chavis Records will be launching the imprint Chavis Records Classics, or CRC. CRC was developed for the true Classic Rock, Rock and Blues musicians.

CEO Bill Chavis, "We've been contacted by so many artists that really do not fit in to the Hard Rock / Heavy Metal genres and more so the Blues / Classic Rock genres and unfortunately, we've had to turn them away. Some of them are really great musicians and now with CRC, there is an outlet for these artists to get their music heard. CRC also gives us greater flexibility in what we do in terms of an independent label and gives CR more diversity and presence in various markets. It really is all about great music and there is a ton of it out there just waiting to be heard."
