OBSCURA To Hit The Studio In August

German death metallers OBSCURA check in with the following news:
"During the next weeks we will arrange the follow-up record for Retribution, so we will be able to enter the studio in late August this year.Once again Obscura choose V. Santura (DARK FORTRESS) for recordings at The Crypt Studios, Germany. The cover art and layout was created by German artist Timo Wuerz again."
As recently reported, guitarist Markus Lempsch has parted ways with Obscura. His statement reads as follows:
"Due to scheduling conflicts and other obligations I decided to take a break from Obscura. It was a hard decision, but I am not able to dedicate the time and energy that's needed right now. The other guys just started searching for a replacement and those guitarists who're interested in playing technical death metal should feel free to contact steffen@obscura-metal.com. What Obscura is asking for is skills, professional attitude, experience, creativity, quality equipment, the ability to play shows and tours and dedication to the band's aims.Thanx to all those who supported us so far and helped to make our European tour with SUFFOCATION a success. I had a killer time, that's for sure!"
