GLENN HUGHES To Headline Kartfestivalen In Norway

The GLENN HUGHES Picture Gallery website reports:
Glenn Hughes will appear at the award winning Kartfestivalen festival in Gvarv, Norway on July 13th,2007. This will be a very special show, with Glenn performing with some of the finest musicians in Norway, including Erland Dahlen from top Norwegian rockers MADRUGADA, on drums.
This is not a performance by Glenn Hughes and his band; Glenn is appearing in a ‘special guest’ role with the assembled musicians, though the headlining appearance will feature him for a full set of Deep Purple classics.
The organizers say: "Kartfestivalen began in 2005, and quickly gained a reputation of being a stage for the most talented bands in Norway. Beautifully set in a natural environment, Kartfestivalen is only the second ecological festival in all Europe. It is held in a town called Gvarv, which is Norway’s hottest place. We are honoured to have Glenn at the festival, and with his appearance, we expect the temperature to reach new levels!"
