LACUNA COIL’s Cristina Scabbia didn’t only do guest vocals for MEGADETH’s 'A Tout Le Monde' (which originally appeared on the 1994 album Youthanasia) now retitled 'A Tout Le Monde (Set Me Free)', but also participated in the video of the song that was shot at a downtown Los Angeles studio on Thursday, March 8th. “I just shot my parts for the new Megadeth video ‘A Tout Le Monde’ in Los Angeles, and it was a blast! I met Dave Mustaine the day before I shot my individual parts, and it’s always amazing when you can talk with an artist who has been around in the music scene for so long and is still down to earth. Dave was nothing but kind to me.

It was such an honor to collaborate on the song, and then to be asked to participate in the video shoot was simply unbelievable. I always loved the original version of the song, but what a lot of people don’t know is that this is an entirely new version. It’s more rockin’ and powerful. Now I totally understand why they decided to remake the song, for even though the original was already amazing, this new version brings more to the table.

I did my best to play up my ‘acting skills’ the best I could. It was definitely funny to play the part. You’ll soon see what I mean. It’s going to be great. I’m sure you’ll have as much fun watching this video as I had playing my character when you’ll see the final cut. And these are the last words I’ll ever speak, and they’ll set me free. After finalizing a video clip for 'Within Me' the band will embark on the latest installment of the Jägermeister Music Tour alongside STONE SOUR and SHADOWS FALL. The trek, which kicks off on March 23rd and runs through early May, is the group’s fourth U.S. run in support of their Karmacode album.

Before playing a few selected festivals in Europe they will do their own US headlining tour with the motto “The Hottest Women In Metal" together with WITHIN TEMPTATION, IN THIS MOMENT, THE GATHERING and/or KYLESA.
