YNGWIE MALMSTEEN - Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Guitar (1968) Up For Auction On eBay

Guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen is currently auctioning one of his guitars on eBay. Following are the description and details taken directly from the auction page:
"Being listed for your consideration is this one off Fender Custom Shop, Stratocaster Guitar, 1968 model style. The neck is a scalloped maple cap, RARE in that there is NO skunk stripe.The pickups of course are Dimarzio's a YJM neck pickup, the middle pickup is a vintage pickup and an HS-3 in the bridge, all three noiseless of course. Yngwie personally has owned and played this instrument in the studio and in concerts throughout the world and there may be photos around showing him playing this instrument. One of the photos shows Yngwie in one of his studios with this guitar in front of his Marshall stacks. This instrument is is like all the instruments that Yngwie owns, a balls to the wall rip snorting instrument of mass destruction! The battle scars are all evidence of previous wars! It is a used instrument in good condition and it plays well (set up to Yngwie's specs). I am not a guitar expert but will try to answer your questions if you ask them early. Please limit them to the listed instrument as I will have to ask Yngwie if I do not know. Please look carefully, as the instrument is not a museum piece; it is a Malm driven machine and it is what it is and what you see. I can ask him to autograph it if you wish.It will come with an Yngwie signed letter of authenticity and a photo of him signing this letter.
The starting bid is very low and the instrument may be sold locally as there are several music stores and collectors that have expressed an interest, it is because of this that I am reserving the right to end this auction early. Enjoy!

If you have zero feedback and less than ten feedback or excessive negatives you will automatically be blocked from this and all future auctions (sorry folks but listing this stuff is a lot of work). Buyer pays all shipping costs. I recently (a couple of months ago) shipped a well packed Fender Precision Bass guitar from Florida to the State of Washington for forty dollars insured . That may have gone up slightly due to the current fuel stuation but this is to give you some idea of shipping costs. I do not charge any ridiculous handling charges, only actual. Shipping is calculated by where you live, the farther away you live the more it will cost to send it. If you do not want the item insured I can not be responsible. Cash at your own risk, money orders or PayPal only. I will be listing some other things for Yngwie as time permits. No refunds."
