According to Gameguru.in, Activision has announced that the newly-renamed Guitar Hero game for the PS2, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The '80s will have more songs. Famous artists from the eighties such as DIO, SKID ROW, POISON, EXTREME and FASTER PUSSYCAT will now feature in the game. Here are the songs and the artists that will feature in Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The '80s:
ASIA - 'Heat Of The Moment'
BOW WOW WOW - 'I Want Candy'
DIO - 'Holy Diver'
EDDIE MONEY - 'Shaken'
EXTREME - 'Play With Me'
FASTER PUSSYCAT - 'Bathroom Wall'
FLOCK OF SEAGULLS - 'I Ran' (original track)
POISON - 'Nothing But A Good Time'
THE POLICE - 'Synchronicity II'
QUIET RIOT - 'Metal Health'

Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The '80s will feature thirty new songs from the classic era. The game is expected to release in the summer of 2007. There is no confirmation whether Guitar Hero Encore will now be a spin-off for future games.
