Two rare live videos of mid 90's progressive metal cult heroes EDWIN DARE, featuring guitarist Jeff Kollman (GLENN HUGHES, MOGG/WAY), have been posted on YouTube: 'Feel The Power', 'The Backburner'.

Both tracks are off the band's 1994 sophomore disc, Can't Break Me, issued on the band's Marmaduke label in the US and Teichiku in Japan, the quartet's main market. Edwin Dare formed out of the ashes of another Midwest metal act, VXN, and featured brothers Jeff and Tom Kollman (drums), vocalist Bryce Barnes, and bass virtuoso Kevin Chown who went on to record with ARTENSION, MAGNITUDE 9, and TONY MacALPINE.

In related news, Kollman-led metal fusioneers COSMOSQUAD have just issued their new studio album 'Acid Test' on Marmaduke Records, with a Japanese release slated for June 6 via Zain/Big M.F.. A 3-minute teaser of the album has been posted at www.myspace.com/jeffkollman. 'Acid Test' features Kollman and co-producer/drummer Shane Gaalaas (B'z, DIESEL MACHINE, GLENN HUGHES), bassists Kevin Chown, Christopher Maloney (Z, $IGN OF 4, HARDLINE), Paul Shinadeh (SCOTT HENDERSON, SCOTT KINSEY), and Albert Zilboon, as well as keyboardists Ed Roth (IMPELLITTERI, Glenn Hughes, FATES WARNING) and Jono Brown.

Cosmosquad will be celebrating the release of Acid Test with a Friday, June 1 show at the Baked Potato, 3787 W. Cahuenga Blvd., Universal City, CA; Kollman and Gaalaas are joined by bassist Christopher Maloney for the occasion.
