UK-based music journalist Dave Ling, recently spoke with IRON MAIDEN vocalist Bruce Dickinson about his upcoming movie project on occult legend Aleister Crowley. The following is an excerpt from Ling's blog:

"Mrs L and I joined the enthusiastic post-gig celebrations, quaffing far too many ciders for a Sunday night. We chatted to both Bruce and guitarist Janick Gers, the former revealing that his movie about occult legend Aleister Crowley (infamous as 'the wickedest man in the world') shortly enters production, with Simon Callow - of Amadeus, Shakespeare In Love and appropriately, The Phantom Of The Opera - set for the title role. Dickinson has spent 12 years working on this project, and is understandably thrilled to get it moving at last. Though Bruce isn't planning a successor to 2005's Tyranny Of Souls in the break before Maiden's next summer tour, he doesn't rule out getting together with producer/guitarist Roy Z to work on some new music for the soundtrack."
