Bassist Michael Anthony Recovering From Cabo Wabo!

Bassist Michael Anthony's (SAMMY HAGAR, ex-VAN HALEN) website has issued the following update:
"Michael returned to Lake Tahoe for one giant show with the Red Rocker, THE MAD ANTHONY EXPRESS, LOS TRES GUSANOS and THE OTHER HALF for a rockin' Father's Day concert at Harvey's Outdoor Arena in South Lake Tahoe, NV. The enormous crowd rocked the night away as the four bands tore through a meaty set and a 2.5-plus hour show.On Saturday the night before, the Mad Anthony Express jammed a set of cover tunes at the Tahoe Wabo's cantina. The tightly packed crowd was treated to a set including 'The Immigrant Song', 'Atomic Punk', 'D.O.A.', 'Waiting For The Bus'/'Jesus Left Left Chicago', and 'Bad Motor Scooter'. Anthony comments: "I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to Lake Tahoe for our Father's Day weekend bash!! Vic, JD and I played the cantina on Saturday night...what a BLAST!! I think I floated back to my room after all the shots of Cabo Wabo!!, and the show outdoors on Sunday was perfect. You couldn't have asked for better weather, or a rockin' bunch of crazed fans...thank you!! Check my website, as we will have some pics from the weekend up shortly!!
