hot flashes news legion of the damned

Dutch metallers LEGION OF THE DAMNED check in with the following message:

Legion Of The Damned is happy to announce that Spiritual Beast Records in Japan is going to release Sons Of The Jackal in the Japan, Taiwan and Korea area!

We congratulate Spiritual Beast for their license purchase and wish them all the luck and success! We are trying to make it possible to come over to Japan, and do a couple of shows, perhaps in 2008."

In related news, as previously reported, Legion Of The Damned's Feel The Blade will be issued through Massacre Records in January 2008. Tracks to appear on the release (not final sequence) include: 'Disturbing The Dead', 'Nocturnal Predator', 'Warbeast', 'Feel The Blade', 'Slut Of Sodom', 'Expire', 'Nuclear Torment', 'Obsessed By The Grave', 'Reapers Call', 'Slaughtering The Pigs'.

The band recently issued the following in regards to this news, "As many of you know by now, Legion Of The Damned, before they released Malevolent Rapture and Sons Of The Jackal, were operating under the name OCCULT. The last Occult album was also recorded by master producer Andy Classen and was the first album without the female singer they had that time, which was also one of main reason why Occult changed it's name to Legion Of The Damned.

The band agrees that this album belongs to the Legion Of The Damned collection and so the band and it's record company, after buying back the rights for this album, decided they will re-release this masterpiece in January, 2008 along with 2 new songs and a cover!!

The abum will be entitled Feel The Blade, and will also contain a bonus DVD.

Singer Maurice states about this album: "This album is a classic, first time recording with Andy Classen; this album is fierce and exceptional aggressive, many people stated that time, that this album was our answer to SLAYER's Reign In Blood, the album that time was nowhere to be found in shops, so I am really excited and happy that this album will be out again and re-released under the name LOTD along with a killer new package with a lot of bonus material on it, plus a bonus DVD, so value for money!

Alot of people asked for it, and we can't wait until we can play those songs live again in 2008!"
