hot flashes news ca dark haven

Temecula, California's DARK HAVEN, who earned the #1 spot in BW&BK;'s 2006 list of Brave Underground indie submissions, have issued the following update:

"Well Dark Haven fans, we are not dead and we haven’t abandoned you! We have been working our asses off to get this all together. The wait is officially over! We have found our new members.

The search for the bass player went rather smoothly and we didnt’t have to look too hard. Now playing bass for Dark Haven will be Ryan Kilpatrick, yes the brother of Brennan. Ryan has been studying Bass at M.I. (Musicians Institute) up in L.A. and we believe that with the technical skills & devotion he holds, there is no doubt that he will fit great in the Dark Haven fold.

What many of you have been chomping at the bit for, has been, who will be the new frontman for us. Well that search took some time, and we didnt’t want to just 'settle' with anyone. We tried out numerous singers from all over Southern California as well as some through MySpace. And we thank everyone for giving it there all. After many rehearsals we have found our man, Don Linneman. Don will bring a whole new presence to the stage as well as great lyrical content. Make sure to welcome Don to the Dark Haven Army!

The next question when will you be able to witness this new onslaught of metal!

Our first show will be a headlining gig Friday August 10th at the Showcase Theatre in Corona, CA. So be sure to mark your calendars! If you are a band and wish to be on this show please either contact Joe Lujan at the Showcase or our manager Rob killboxmedia@gmail.com for details."
