Norwegian extreme metallers MANNGARD have posted the title track of their new album, European Cowards, at their MySpace page.

Due on September 3rd via Nocturnal Art Productions/Candlelight Records, European Cowards was recorded at the Tonreich, Sodoma Sound and Duper studios with producer Iver Sandoey, and was mixed by Jørgen Archibald Træen at Duper studio.

According to the band, the release date is particularly significant because it will "mark the 68th anniversary for the Allies' declaration of war on Nazi Germany, probably the last time the European countries showed some guts on their own, without hiding behind the broad back of Uncle Sam."

The group previously stated about the CD, "a Manngard album will never be a one-dimensional presentation. Make no mistake, our thrash roots are more pronounced on this album, with the signature Manngard mix of death, black and progressive metal lurking around throughout."

Manngard re-released it's debut album, Circling Buzzards, in February 2006 via Nocturnal Art Productions/Candlelight Records.
