hot flashes news kataklysm

KATAKLYSM are currently busy recording their new masterpiece album, Prevail. Here is an update from guitarist /producer J-F Dagenais:

"Big hello to everyone and all the Kat maniacs out there! Im happy to say that we are just about done tracking drums for Prevail, I'm so excited with this album and we are off to a killer start...

Max's performance is outstanding, I've been playing with Max since 1994 and this is by far the best drum recording he has ever made, when I record artists I push them to the maximum, to get the best out of them, on this recording I had to ask Max for a break... go figure!

Anyways, the bottom line is the grooves pound the house, the blast beats are the fastest in the biz and its intricate, he is a machine!

So we're going to go over everything this weekend make sure all is good then Tuesday Maurizio comes down to lay the law on the vocals... cant fucking wait! I think we are going take some pictures and post them on our MySpace and website next week, give you a little glimpse...

More news next week!"

After Kataklysm complete recording the album, they will embark on a European tour with friends BEHEMOTH and ABORTED, starting at the end of September.

Kataklysm have also confirmed that they will in fact be on the upcoming CHIMAIRA tour that will run from November to December. The tour billing is Chimaira, Kataklysm, TERROR, DIVINE HERESY.
