Virginian crossover-thrashers MUNICIPAL WASTE have had their track 'Headbanger Face Rip' banned by YouTube. Filmed by the legendary 80's cult splatter/horror independent film company Troma Entertainment, the gore version of the recording has been deemed by YouTube to have content which is inappropriate. The edited version of the song can still be viewed on YouTube below.

The banned version of the track features the legendary Troma style blood, guts and gore seen in many of their genre-defining B-movie style shock flicks, which fit well with Municipal Waste's outrageous party attitude. To view the banned clip head to this location.

As previously reported, Troma, founded by Lloyd Kaufman in 1974, are famed worldwide for their genre-defining B-movie style shock flicks, that specialise in graphic violence, political satire and a bizarre sense of humour. Having produced classics such as "The Toxic Avenger", "Class Of Nuke Em High" and "Sgt Kabukiman, NYPD", Troma's splatter-style visuals fit perfectly alongside Municipal Waste's colourful, high-energy Thrash assault.

Speaking about Troma's take on 'Headbanger Face Rip', Municipal Waste bassist LandPhil states: "I am fucking stoked on the great job that TROMA has done on Headbanger Face Rip!! I think that it has a little something for everyone out there that likes to party - Gore,Tits and the fucking waste!"

Troma's Lloyd Kaufman has commented upon the partnership between the Richmond thrashers and Troma's unique style, stating: "It seems fitting that Municipal Waste would ask the Troma Team to make a video for 'Headbanger Face Rip', as we've been ripping faces off on film for over 30 years!".

Municipal Waste's The Art Of Partying is out now everywhere via Earache.
