THE AGONY SCENE Embark On US Tour; Post New Track Online

THE AGONY SCENE have returned with their Century Media debut, Get Damned, produced by Andreas Magnusson (BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SCARLET), which is set for an October 23 release date. The group kicks off their worldwide touring cycle in support of the new offering tomorrow with a massive US run as direct support to MISERY SIGNALS with EMMURE, SKY EATS AIRPLANE and BORN OF OSIRIS occupying the support slots. Mike Williams (vocals) states: "We are stoked to get back on the road. It's been a little over a year since we have even played a show and we're definitely ready to get back out. We're going out with some killer bands! We went out with Misery Signals back in 2005 and had a blast so we're excited to see those dudes again. Sky Eats Airplane, Emmure and Born of Osiris are all great bands which makes for a killer show you don't want to miss. We also couldn't be happier with Get Damned. From a writing standpoint we really tried to get back to the way we wrote our self titled record. We did not hold back creatively and really strived to push the boundaries of what people expected of us. It's definitely the most pissed off we've ever been."
