NIGHTWISH - Single Hits European Charts; Positions Revealed

NIGHTWISH' new single 'Amaranth' has hit the charts across Europe, landing in the following positions: Finland: #1, Spain: #1, Hungary: #1, Norway: #1, UK: #1 (Rock), Denmark: #4, UK: #5 (Indie), Switzerland: #14, Germany: #16, Austria: #33, Netherlands: #47, UK: #120 (Top 200).
As previously reported, French Nightwish fanclub and Nuclear Blast have organized a special release party for the band's new album, Dark Passion Play, due to take place in Paris, France on September 22nd at Caves Saint Sabin. Along with a pre-listening of Dark Passion Play, the 'Amaranth' video will be shown and 50 posters will be given away. Doors open at 10:30pm, admission will be free until 11:00pm. After 11:00pm admission will be 12 Euros.
