KAMELOT Confirmed For Germany's Wacken Open Air

Tampa-based power metallers KAMELOT are the latest act confirmed for the 2008 edition of the Wacken Open Air, which is scheduled for July 31st - August 2nd, in Wacken, Germany. This will be an exclusive German Festival appearance for 2008.
Acts on the Wacken bill now include headliners IRON MAIDEN, CARCASS (reunion show), AT THE GATES (reunion show), AVANTASIA, AXXIS, CHILDREN OF BODOM, CREMATORY (Best Of Show), DREAM OF AN OPIUM EATER, EXCREMENTORY GRINDFUCKERS, HATEBREED, KAMELOT, KREATOR, KRYPTERIA, LORD BELIAL, SALTATIO MORTIS, SONATA ARCTICA, THE BONES.
In other Kamelot news, the band are busy working on a special edition live CD, new songwriting and also preparing for the upcoming Headliner European tour and eventual North American Tour for 2008. Kamelot released it's blockbuster CD Ghost Opera in June 2007 on SPV/Steamhammer. The album charted in the following countries:
