THE SWORD Set To Kick Off US Headlining Tour

Austin, TX based quartet THE SWORD has announced a US headlining tour, its first in nearly a year. The scheduled 17 city trek will launch tonight in Shreveport, LA and will see the band perform many of the brand new songs that will comprise the bulk of its new album, due in early 2008 via NYC’s Kemado Records. Support on tour will be provided by VALIENT THORR and BLACK COBRA.
On the topic of the US tour, The Sword has issued the following statement: "We urge the Eastern seaboard and areas lying between there and Austin, TX to take cover, secure provisions and prepare for battle. We come as a scythe taking down all in our path with fail proof deadly riffery. No prisoners."
