HEAVENWOOD Ink Deal With Recital Records

Portuguese goth-metallers HEAVENWOOD have inked a deal with Recital Records. The band is ready to record their third album, the first for this label, in February/March 2008. The as-yet-untitled album is expected to be released by Recital Records in April/ May 2008.
According to a press release, "Heavenwood was formed in 1992 as a Death-Metal band under the monicker of DISGORGED.
After the release of two demo-tapes, As Illusive As A Dream and 'Emotional Wound, they signed by Massacre Records and released two records: Diva also released in Japan through Avalon/ Marquee Inc.) and Swallow. Their second album Swallow from 1998 features guest appearances from at the time THEATRE OF TRAGEDY's female vocalist Liv Kristine and GAMMA RAY's Kai Hansen. Nowadays, Heavenwood is a much more mature band playing and that is reflected on their powerful sound. A sound that shows a great determination and will to win. Songs played with passion and soul."
