As previously reported, X-JAPAN recently announced two reunion shows for Tokyo, Japan, playing March 28th (Destruction Night) and March 30th (Creation Night) at Tokyo Dome. A third show has been announced for March 29th (Night Of Reckless). The following press release comes to BW&BK; courtesy of Jrock Revolution:

"Immediately following the announcement of the X-Japan reunion concerts in March, pre-sale ticket applications to Yoshiki Mobile alone surpassed 100,000, enough to fill the capacity of both shows at the Tokyo Dome even before the on-sale date. This caused a temporary shutdown of the Yoshiki Mobile pre-sale application and a flooding of requests to other websites.

Through the addition of seating in the venue and opening up the section behind the stage, as well as through the addition of a charity auction, X-Japan and promoter staff have tried to accommodate as many fans as possible. The total number of ticket applications received has now exceeded 200,000, so in order to avoid any further inconvenience to fans, the decision has been made to add another show.

Originally, the middle March 29th date was kept open in order to allow Yoshiki (drums) to be in the best physical shape possible for both scheduled shows. However, upon realizing the incredible response from X-Japan fans who have been so loyal throughout the years, he decided that the only way to pay them back would be to add a show on March 29th, in order to have as many fans as possible be a part of these special performances.

As many of you are already aware, there have been numerous incidences in the past where Yoshiki has had to receive medical attention immediately following X-Japan concerts, due to the physical intensity of his drumming. It was this concern for Yoshiki' s well-being that originally led to the opinion that it would not be a good idea to book three consecutive concerts, but Yoshiki himself has vowed that it is worth putting his health at risk for the sake of the legions of fans who have supported X-Japan . That was the basis of the decision to go ahead with three consecutive Tokyo Dome concerts.

As a result of the decision to add a third show, we are canceling the planned charity auction.

On behalf ofX-Japan and all of the staff working to make these three Tokyo Dome shows possible, we would like to sincerely thank all of you for your overwhelming support now and into the future."
