Recently departed YNGWIE MALMSTEEN singer Doogie White has sent The RAINBOW Fanclan Legacy the following update:
"I know its short notice but I got a call at 1pm today (Thursday, February 28th) from Chris Hook asking If I could fill in on vocals for his DEEP PURPLE covers band THE PURPLE PROJECT tonight at Rivermead, Reading. So if yer around?? It's in aid of Ian and Jacquie Paice's Charidee. So it a rawkin night and a good cause."
