NIGHTWISH - More Details Of Forthcoming Single Revealed; Cover Art And Release Date Confirmed

BW&BK; broke the news back on February 23rd that Finnish metallers NIGHTWISH plan to release 'The Islander' as the third single from Dark Passion Play. The band has now issued complete details of the release:
"Nightwish's next single off the Dark Passion Play album will be 'The Islander'. The single will be released on May 21st and will include the following tracks: 'The Islander', 'Escapist' (instrumental version), 'Meadows Of Heaven' (orchestral version). Additionally, it will also include the videos 'The Islander' and 'Bye Bye Beautiful'.The video for 'The Islander' was shot last autumn in Rovaniemi and was directed by Stobe Harju. The video will premiere on April 14th at 7:00pm (Finnish time) on MTV Finland's show 'Spanking New'."
