As previously reported, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Kill 'Em All, METALLICA are reissuing Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning on vinyl as originally released on a single disc at 33 1/3 rpm, and a deluxe edition at 45 rpm. Both reissues, now available in the Metallica.com Store, come in their original sleeves with the deluxe edition a double gatefold, 2 disc, 180 gram 45 rpm version and both were Half Speed Mastered from the original analog tapes at Mobile Fidelity for the ultimate listening experience with audiophile quality.

Both releases will also be available at your local retailer on Tuesday, April 15 in North America and in the rest of the world, on Monday, May 19.

According to a Metallica update: "Place an order for any merchandise in the Metallica.com Store or MetStore (for MetClub members) between now and April 17 and get automatically entered into our vinyl contest. One lucky person will win the previously released Vinyl Box Set. This limited edition LP box set contains Metallica's first four albums, as well as the out-of-print Garage Days Revisited EP and the import-only Creeping Death picture disc. Also included in the sale, all Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning items!
