SIGH Frontman Comments On Upcoming Global Metal Documentary

Mirai Kawashima, frontman for Japanese black metal act SIGH, has issued a statement about the band's involvement in the upcoming documentary Global Metal, director Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn's follow-up to 2005's documentary, A Headbanger's Journey.
The band's song 'Me Devil' - off of 2007's Hangman's Hymn - is played prominently in the movie's trailer and will be featured on the soundtrack to coincide with the movie's release.
Says Kawashima, "It's a great honor to be featured in the film as we enjoyed A Headbanger's Journey a lot. We do hope this documentary will be a trigger to help spread the Eastern plague and terror some more!"

Synopsis: The directors Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn set out to discover how the West’s most maligned musical genre - heavy metal - has impacted the world’s cultures beyond Europe and North America. The film follows metal fan and anthropologist Sam Dunn on a whirlwind journey through Asia, South America and the Middle East.
In other Sigh news, the band recently completed the recording six song tribute to VENOM, titled Sigh's Tribute To Venom.
