To truly pay tribute to JEFF HEALEY, one night just wasn't enough. A pair of sold-out shows tonight and tomorrow will embrace, respectively, the two musical styles – rock and, later in life, jazz/blues – that the legendary guitarist/vocalist embraced during a storied life cut short by a rare form of cancer in early March.

The shows will also bring together veteran international stars like CREAM bass player/vocalist Jack Bruce and DEEP PURPLE's Ian Gillan, Canadian stars like RANDY BACHMAN, COLIN JAMES and ALANNAH MYLES and jazz giants like VINCE GIORDANO, along with relative newcomers like 17-year-old guitar prodigy Jimmy Bowskill.

For Bachman, performing tonight at the Sound Academy, is all about saying goodbye to a dear friend.

"When I heard he (Healey) was gone, it was like, `How could I say goodbye?' This is me coming to say goodbye," Bachman said.

A second show, featuring JEFF HEALEY'S JAZZ WIZARDS with Terra Hazelton and many other jazz acts, takes place tomorrow at Jeff Healey's Roadhouse on Blue Jays Way.
