Finnish melodic death metal act MYGRAIN have issued the following update:

"MyGrain has parted ways with their long-term guitarist Matthew. There’s no drama included or anything and we sincerely wish all the best to Matthew in the future. You will always be our brother!

This unfortunate incident won’t affect the band’s actions in the future - we’re still working on the new songs and we won’t cancel any of the gigs.

Our friend Teemu Ylämäki from the band MISERY INC. will fill the gap of another guitar on the upcoming live shows, a BIG thank you for him!

We will inform you more about our future plans as soon as it’s possible.

Horns up!"

Mygrain recently posted two new songs, 'Translucent Dreams' and 'Shed The Second Skin', at their official MySpace page. Both tracks are lifted from their Signs Of Existence album, which came out February 13th via Spinefarm Records.

The tracklisting for the record is as follows: 'Translucent Dreams', 'This Perfect Chaos', 'Asphyxiated And Inflammable', 'Shed The Second Skin', 'Walk Puppet Walk', 'Killing Time', 'The Psychonaut', 'Alienation', 'Human Wasteland', 'Final Frontier'.
