MetalKult reports:

"For four days in March 2008, MetalKult’s Brad Angle and Jimmy Hubbard took a journey to the grim-cold heart of Norwegian black metal: Oslo, Norway.

In episode two of our four-part series, we travel an hour into the mountainous Telemark County to Notodden, where we visit with EMPEROR vocalist/guitarist IHSAHN at his Symphonique Studios. In the footage here, check out Ihsahn as he gives MetalKult’s cameras an exclusive tour of the gear he used to create his latest solo album, angL.

And while you’re at it, check out yesterday’s part one, where MetalKult visits Oslo’s Akershus Castle, the rebuilt Holmenkollen Chapel (which was burned in 1992 by members of the black metal community) and the site of Helvete (MAYHEM guitarist Euronymous’ record store and informal black metal “inner circle” headquarters), before heading to SATYRICON's cavernous rehearsal studios for a gear tour courtesy of Satyr and Frost.

Make sure to come back tomorrow for part three, in which you can see what happens when we visit ZYKLON/EMPEROR drummer Trym’s tattoo studio. Hint: someone leaves with some brutally fresh Thor’s Hammer ink.

Many thanks to GuitarWorld.com forum moderator and Lotus bassist Øyvind Rasmussen for his expert (and impromptu) tour guide skills."
