hot flashes news king

XV, the new album from KING'S X, has debuted at #145 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart and #12 on Billboard's Indie Chart. This marks the first time in over a decade that the band has cracked the Top 200 in the first week of release.

With XV, their fifteenth record, the band has once again delivered a prime example of classy groove rock featuring strong melodies, driving rhythms and stellar musicianship. Produced by Michael Wagener (OZZY OSBOURNE, METALLICA, etc.), "XV" has proven to be a unique yet comfortable addition into the King's X discography. "It is a very different record for us," notes guitarst Ty Tabor. "It touches on a lot of different things from our past, but doesn't sound the same. It seems to me that these are more complete songs. Some are short and sweet, some are more adventurous and unpredictable in some ways."
