JOURNEY - New Album Hits The Top 100 Charts In Six European Countries

JOURNEY’s new 2-disc CD Revelation has entered the national Top 100 charts in six countries in its debut week of release in Europe. With shipments already outselling the predecessor Generations, Revelation entered the charts in Sweden at # 28, Germany at # 35, Great Britain at # 68 (# 5 in the indie charts); Netherlands at # 72; Switzerland at # 89 and Norway at # 97.
These results mark the band’s biggest first week’s sales since 1996’s Trial By Fire and one of Frontiers Records best overall sales results in its 10 years of history. Released June 6 in Europe on Frontiers Records, Revelation consists of two cds, the first with 12 new songs, the second is filled with 11 re-recorded classics. All of the music on Revelation was produced by Kevin Shirley (who previously worked with Journey on the Trial By Fire album).
